A clear, structured process from first consultation to return-to-work.

Every ProPartum engagement follows the same five-stage framework, refined for every individual. Here is exactly what happens when your employee enrols. No surprises. No vague promises.

For HR and People Teams

What your team sees. And what they do not have to deal with.

ProPartum is deliberately low-touch from HR’s perspective. We handle all direct engagement with enrolled employees. Your team is not asked to manage, monitor, or mediate the programme. You receive structured reporting at agreed intervals, and that is it.

All employee interactions are handled directly by the ProPartum specialist. Your role is to enrol, receive reporting, and renew.

When each employee begins her programme, HR receives a brief summary confirming enrolment, specialist assigned, and programme start date.

A structured update across all enrolled employees, anonymised if required. Covers engagement, programme adherence, and any clinical developments relevant to HR planning.

Issued when each programme concludes. Provided directly to the employee and, with her explicit written consent, shared with HR. The document HR needs on the first day back.

Delivered at renewal. Shows engagement rates, programme outcomes, and recommended package adjustments for the year ahead.

ASSESS

1 x 60-minute video consultation

Nothing is assumed. Nothing is designed without this conversation.

Every programme begins with a comprehensive 1-to-1 consultation. We gather a full physical and mental health history: birth type, recovery stage, pre-pregnancy fitness, any complications, diastasis or pelvic floor concerns, mental wellbeing, sleep patterns, role demands, and the employee’s own goals.

This is not a form. It is a proper clinical conversation, conducted by a certified specialist who has worked with women at every stage of the perinatal journey. She will hear things that a questionnaire would miss. That depth is what makes the programme that follows genuinely personal.

OUTCOME OF THE STAGE

A detailed individual profile that informs every decision going forward. The employee feels heard, seen, and confident that what follows is built for her, not for a demographic.

02

Design

3 to 5 business days

No stock content. No generic templates. Built from scratch.

Using the assessment data, we build a bespoke programme on our digital delivery platform. The programme includes video-guided exercises demonstrated by our certified specialist, progression ladders that advance at her pace, educational content covering recovery and nutrition, and where relevant, mental wellbeing check-ins built into the programme structure.

Every exercise is chosen with her specific profile in mind. If her assessment flagged diastasis recti, the programme is designed around safe rehabilitation. If her recovery is ahead of schedule, the programme progresses accordingly. The design is never fixed and never one-size-fits-all.

OUTCOME OF THE STAGE

A personal digital programme she can access anytime, anywhere, on her phone, laptop, or tablet. Designed to fit around a newborn, not the other way around.

03

Coach

Ongoing for the length of the programme

The same specialist. Every session. No handoffs.

1-to-1 video check-ins happen at a frequency matched to the package selected: monthly in Core, fortnightly in Enhanced, weekly at peak recovery in Premium. Each session reviews progress, adjusts programming in response to how her body and mind are responding, and addresses any new concerns that have emerged since the last call.

Continuity is fundamental to outcomes. The same specialist is present at every session, which means she never has to re-explain her history, her concerns, or her progress. That continuity is itself a clinical advantage, not just a convenience.

OUTCOME OF THE STAGE

Sustained momentum throughout the programme. The number one reason self-directed postnatal exercise programmes fail is lack of accountability. ProPartum removes that variable entirely.

04

Support

Continuous between sessions

A person, not a chatbot. Available within 24 hours.

Between coaching calls, the employee has direct access to her specialist via WhatsApp and email. Questions, concerns, a flare-up, a missed session, an unexpected development in her recovery. All of it answered within 24 hours by the same person who built her programme and knows her history.

This is what separates ProPartum from an app. An app cannot notice when a message suggests she is struggling. A person can. That responsiveness has disproportionate mental health benefits and is a clinically supported predictor of programme adherence.

OUTCOME OF THE STAGE

She is never alone with an uncertainty. That alone is one of the most underestimated drivers of successful postnatal recovery and return to work.

05

Return

Final month of the programme

She arrives at her first day back feeling stronger than before she left.

As she approaches return to work, the focus shifts. Stamina for full working days. Posture for desk work and commuting. Stress resilience for the transition. Where appropriate, partner guidance for continued home-based movement is provided so the momentum built during the programme does not stop at her last session.

The programme concludes with a formal Return-to-Work Readiness Report, a clear, structured document available to her and, with her explicit consent, to your HR team. It records her programme, her progress, and a professional assessment of her readiness to return.

OUTCOME OF THE STAGE

A woman who returns not surviving, but ready. Stronger, more confident, and genuinely supported by an employer who invested in her at the most demanding moment of her working life.

Safety and Confidentiality

The assurances that matter before any contract is signed.

Every ProPartum engagement is built on a formal legal and clinical framework. These are not aspirational commitments. They are documented, verifiable, and available to your procurement team on request.

Corporate procurement teams ask about these at first call. We have the answers ready because the framework was built before the first client, not after.

All interactions are bound by a formal Data Processing Agreement between ProPartum and the employer. Health information is treated as Special Category Data with explicit consent obtained at enrolment.

All programmes are designed within ACOG and UK NICE postnatal exercise guidelines. Our specialist is certified and trained to identify contraindications and adjust programming accordingly.

ProPartum holds professional indemnity insurance and public liability cover. Certificates available on request. Renewed annually and verifiable through our insurer directly.
